Create the recovery image on discs from Windows safe mode using a different brand of disc. Disc compatibility or other software is likely interfering. Safe mode prevents non-essential services and software from opening when Windows loads. Open Recovery Manager while in Windows safe mode to create your discs. If problems persist, use new discs of a different, high-quality brand that you trust.
